Yakisoba (Japanese: 焼きそば [jakiꜜsoba]), "fried noodle", is a Japanese noodle stir-fry dish. Usually soba means buckwheat, but soba in yakisoba means Chinese noodles (Chuuka soba). Yakisoba is a classic Japanese stir fry noodles with pork and vegetables seasoned with sweet & savory sauce similar to Worcestershire sauce. Yakisoba noodles look similar to ramen noodles, but they are slightly different.

Yakisoba is one of the most favored of recent trending meals on earth. It’s simple, it is fast, it tastes delicious. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Yakisoba is something that I’ve loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.

The ingredients needed to make Yakisoba:
  1. Prepare 500-600 g Yakisoba Noodles *OR transform Dry Spaghetti into Yakisoba Noodles

  12. Get Aonori (Green Nori Flakes) *Optional

Although soba noodles did give the name to the dish, the ramen variety is still the most common type used in yakisoba. Yakisoba is a iconic Japanese stir fried noodle dish that has gained a lot of popularity in western countries. Yakisoba literally translates to: Yaki = fried and soba = buckwheat noodles. Instructions to make Yakisoba:
  1. Prepare all vegetables and pork. Cut vegetables into strips and slice Pork thinly.
  2. Heat oil on a large hotplate or a large frypan. Stir fry the Pork and Vegetables and add Salt and Pepper to taste.
  3. Once the Pork is cooked. add the Noodles and toss everything on the hotplate to mix it well.
  4. Add the sauce, toss again and sprinkle some Aonori if you have. (I didn't have it when I took this photo.)
