  1. First let’s knead our dough
  2. Take flour in a deep pan. Add yogurt, baking soda, salt, sugar, oil to it. Mix it well using your hands. Take like warm water and knead a soft dough. Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes
  3. Put dal in a pressure cooker. With some salt and turmeric powder and ghee.
  4. Give 2-3 whistles. Switch off the flame and let it cool down by itself.
  5. Let’s prepare tadka for dal.
  6. Take a pan. Add some ghee in it. Add hing. Then add some mustard seeds. Once mustard seeds starts cracking, add some curry leaves and cumin seeds.
  7. Let it cook for few seconds.
  8. Add onion paste to it and cook it till golden brown. When onion is half cooked add little water and turmeric powder to it.
  9. Once onion turns into golden brown add tomatoes 🍅, ginger, garlic paste in it. Add little salt and let it cook.
  10. Once oil start separating the masala add all dry Masala and little water to deglaze the pan.
  11. Cook it for another 1-2 minutes. Once it’s cooked add dry fenugreek leaves tonit. And finally add our cooked dal
  12. Our tadka dal is ready to serve.
  13. Now for Roti. Set your oven to broil setting.
  14. Take a small amount of atta. Roll it in between your palm to make a smooth ball. Now using dry Flour roll it. It should not be very thin like roti.
  15. Put it in the oven and bake it for 5-6 minutes while flipping flopping.
