Sajji Rice is one of the most popular of current trending meals in the world. It is appreciated by millions daily. It’s easy, it is quick, it tastes delicious. They’re fine and they look wonderful. Sajji Rice is something which I’ve loved my whole life.

The ingredients needed to make Sajji Rice:
  1. Take rice (soaked for 30 minutes)
  2. Make ready Water for boiling
  3. Get Whole garam masala
  4. Make ready Salt
  5. Get Turmeric powder
  6. Prepare yellow food colour
  7. Prepare black pepper powder
  8. Take garam masala/ chaat masala
  9. Make ready crushed nutmeg
  10. Make ready medium onion (cut into half)
  11. Prepare oil
Instructions to make Sajji Rice:
  1. In a big pot add 3/4 pot water and add whole garam masala, salt, onion, turmeric and bring to boil.
  2. Then add rice. And cook till rice are par boiled (3/4 done). Strain the rice.
  3. Now add the strained rice back into the pot, add oil and remaining ingredients (food colour, black pepper powder, garam masala). Cover and cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Now remove the cover and add nutmeg powder. Cover and cook on low flame for another 5 minutes.
  5. Now remove the cover and mix the rice from sides. Very slowly and softly. Rice are ready to serve with Sajji Chicken
  6. Serve with Sajji Chicken in Iftaar.
