Instructions to make Chicken breast w/ Mushroom sauce:
  1. Clean your chicken breast of any excess fat. Use your knife to get vertical cuts on the chicken breast. Tenderize your chicken with a good massage of mustard. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and massage more. Brush it with peri peri sauce and place it in chill for atleast 20 min. Start pre-heating your oven at 180’c
  2. Heat your pan (preferred iron skillet) with olive oil at low-med heat
  3. After the pan is hot enough, add your chicken breast (top side down) and let it sizzle for 4 - 5 min. Make sure to lightly move it around so doesn’t stick to surface and make sure it's gets a good char.
  4. Now flip the breast side and add garlic cloves in the pan (make sure to break em). And let it sizzle for another 4-5 min at medium heat.
  5. Use your knife or finger (preferred) to check the wellness of chicken. Remove the chicken in another dish and let it cool.
  6. Melt the butter within the same pan. Once done add your onions and sliced mushroom in it and let the onions caramelize. Mid way add your heavy cream and let the sauce get consistency by simmering it for 3-4 min.
  7. Add your breast back in to the pan and use your spoon to pour the sauce over the breast.
  8. Now add your pan to the pre-heated oven for no more than 4 min.
  9. Dress your plate and let the creativity flow. Bon appetite!
