The ingredients needed to make Momo:
  1. Make ready For dough-
  2. Make ready 3/4 cup All-purpose Flour (Maida)
  3. Prepare 1 teaspoon Oil
  4. Take as per taste Salt to taste

  6. Get 3 tsp oil
  7. Make ready 3 clove garlic, finely chopped
  8. Get 1 inch ginger, finely chopped
  9. Get 2 chillies, finely chopped
  10. Get 4 tbsp spring onion
  11. Get 1 cup carrot, grated
  12. Make ready 2 cup cabbage, shredded
  13. Get ½ tsp pepper, crushed
  14. Get 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions to make Momo:
  1. For stuffing : firstly, prepare stuffing by heating 3 tsp oil and saute 3 clove garlic, 1-inch ginger and 2 chilies.
  2. Add 2 tbsp spring onion and saute on high flame.
  3. Add 1 cup carrot and 2 cup cabbage. stir fry on high flame. - Now add ½ tsp pepper and ½ tsp salt. - Additionally, 2 tbsp spring onion and stuffing mixture is ready.
  4. Prepare dough: Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take 1½ cup maida and ½ tsp salt. add water and knead the dough for at least 5 minutes.
  5. Knead to a smooth and soft dough adding water as required. grease the dough with oil and rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Pinch a small ball sized momos dough and flatten - now dust with some maida and start to roll using a rolling pin.
  7. Roll to an almost medium thin circle. make sure you roll from sides and keep the center slightly thick. - Now place a heaped tbsp of prepared stuffing in the center. - Start pleating the edges slowly and gather everything.
  8. Press in middle and seal the momos forming a bundle. - Heat a steamer and arrange the momos in the tray without touching each other.
  9. Steam momos for 10-12 minutes or till shiny sheen appears over it. Your veg momo is ready to eat..
