  1. Get a bowl,add the dry abacha inside then add warm water for 3min then the dry abacha will become soft and fresh
  2. Remove from water and drain in a basket
  3. Put fry pan on heat,add palm oil,onion pepper stir everything together.
  4. Add crayfish and ugba mix very well then add the abacha stir,add maggi,salt and mix after 2min turn off heat
  5. Abacha is ready fast meal then cube garden inside the abacha then serve in a plate.

Although, other parts of the country eat it as well. Abacha or African Salad serves different purposes for the Igbos. It can be used as kola to visitors. Some local communities used it for traditional marriage. Akpu is a traditional meal made from cassava fufu.
