  2. Get raw rice

  1. Wash and soak urad dall with raw rice and boiled rice for 1 hour
  2. Remove the water and grind in the wet grinder to a soft batter
  3. Sprinkle very little water while grinding.
  4. Collect the batter in a bowl
  5. Now add finely chopped onion, coriander leaves, curry leaves, ginger,black pepper corns. Mix well for a minute to feel the batter fluffy
  6. Then use a leaf or polythene cover to make vadai. Pour oil in a pan. Keep in medium flame.
  7. Now take the batter of a lemon size in your hand. Place it on the cover press and make hole in the center and drop it gently in to the oil
  8. Deep fry. Flip both the sides until it's done.
  9. Remove from oil and serve with chutney and sambar
