  1. Take bread
  2. Take mushrooms - washed and chopped
  3. Get chopped shallot
  4. Get Small glass of white wine
  5. Get home made stock, or from a stock cube

This shrimp and mushrooms sauce is luscious, juicy and just succulent. Luckily I was serving this shrimp bisque dish with fresh artisanal bread so I put the bisque in shallow bowls and stuck in two bread slices. In a sauce pan, bring the milk to a boil and then pour the hot milk over the bread. Meanwhile, clean the mushrooms and chop.

Steps to make Bread and mushroom sauce:
  1. Preheat oven to 200. Break up the bread and toast in the oven for about 8 mins. Set a side. Cook onion gently in olive oil until soft. Add mushrooms and turn up the heat
  2. Now add the wine and let it evaporate. Now add the bread and stock and simmer for about 2-3 mins
  3. When bread has broken down, whizz up using a hand blender. Season to taste and simmer for another 8-10 mins to thicken
  4. Serve and enjoy

In a sauce pan, bring the milk to a boil and then pour the hot milk over the bread. Meanwhile, clean the mushrooms and chop. Place the vegetables into the sauce and bring the sauce to the boil. Thicken the sauce with slurry made. You can add some extra pepper, garlic or liquid smoke to the mix to make it even more delicious.
