Hey everyone, it’s Drew, welcome to my recipe page. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, laddoo. It is one of my favorites food recipes. This time, I will make it a bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.
Laddoo is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It is appreciated by millions every day. It is simple, it is quick, it tastes delicious. Laddoo is something which I’ve loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look fantastic.
To begin with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can have laddoo using 7 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.
The ingredients needed to make Laddoo:
Prepare chappatis or bhakris If using bhakri recipe make sure you don’t use salt
Prepare finely grated (gor)Jaggery
Get ghee or unsalted butter
Prepare cardamom powder
Make ready nutmeg
Take saffron
Get finely chopped almonds (I coloured mine red using food colour)
Instructions to make Laddoo:
Cook the Chappatis or bhakri for 10 minutes in oven to make them crispy. (170 degrees F for 10 minutes).
Cut the chappatis into small pieces until they are almost powder like. You can use a food processor if you like. Add the nutmeg, cardamom powder, chopped almonds and saffron to the ground chappatis. Save a few almonds for garnishing too.
Heat the ghee and add the jaggery to it. Once the jaggery dissolves switch of the heat and add the ground chappatis. Mix well and once it's cool enough to handle, make round ladoos by hand or use any mould you have to give them a shape. Garnish with almonds and serve them warm or cold. When we were young, we hardly gave my mum a chance to form the ladoos as we loved eating them warm.
