Instructions to make Tomato pulao:
  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add in the cumin seeds, bayleaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamons. Give a mix.
  2. Add in the chopped onions and the ginger garlic paste. Sauté till the onions are cooked soft
  3. Then add the chopped Tomatoes and give a good mix.
  4. Add in the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, some salt. Stir well till the onions and tomatoes mix with the masalas.
  5. Then add the chopped Coriander leaves and chopped mint leaves. Cook for a minute.
  6. Now drain the water from the soaked rice and add the rice to the pressure cooker. Give a gentle mix.
  7. Add 1&1/2 cups of water into the cooker. Give a good mix. Cover the cooker and cook for 20 minutes(10 minutes in high flame and 10 minutes in low flame)
  8. After pressure released open the cooker. Flavourful Tomato Pulao is ready. Gently mix and garnish with coriander leaves.
  9. Serve Hot with Onion Raita and Enjoy..
